Sepia Saturday
Sepia Saturday has given bloggers a whimsical photo for this week's inspiration. They're singers at an Irish Concert Party. I started by searching for "concert party" at the Library of Congress. Before I knew it I was collecting burlesque posters. Go figure.

I'll go with Burlesque posters

Every week a merry band of bloggers is inspired by the visual prompt. Every post winded up with a different interpretation. Click here to check them out.
I love these posters! Especially as much of my vintage photograph collection dates from this same era. The posters have color and movement which the old photos lack.
ReplyDeleteYour Sepia Saturday link this week is a loop back to S.S. but I suspect everyone will figure it out.
I made it here! Great posters! I was just about to say what Mike said, but I see he already talked about color and movement, so ditto!
ReplyDeleteThey look quite funny in the top photo but I'm sure they were considered scandalous back then.
