Thursday Doors: Old World Wisconsin

Norwegian farm door

My contribution to the Thursday Door Challenge comes from Old World Wisconsin, which I just discovered last weekend. It's a wonderful historical site where they've gathered 19th century buildings from across the state. I love learning about history by seeing places like this.

  1. Those are classic doors. I love the wooden screen door inside the weathered wooden door.

    1. The one with a screen is used as a kitchen so you'd want to keep the flies out. Thanks for hosting.

  2. Love these old doors, they remind me on where I lived before a year ago, where the vineyards of North California are. I miss these views in the suburbs! Emille (Jesh)

    1. They aren't like anything you see in the suburbs. Great rugged craftsmanship. Thanks for visiting.

    1. There's something timeless. I love that these were hand made. There's more character in them.
