Weekend Coffee Share

Weekend Coffee Share is a time for us to take a break out of our lives and enjoy some timely catching up with friends (old and new)! If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about the talk i heard last night. My neighbor, Art Muir gave a talk about his Everest climb. At 75, Art’s the oldest American to reach the summit. He started mountain climbing at age 68 and has climbed several other high mountains. He first attempted Everest in 2019, but was injured and had to turn back. This time he made it. His photos ad videos were stunning. His narrative was witty, humble and fascinating. I did discover another glorious church with stunning architecture, St. Gregory the Great. Which Way Challenge

The Which Way photo challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on.  You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible.  Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs. There’s no topic to this challenge.  All you need have is the “way” visible and the main focus of your photo. To see more ways, click here .

He did all the roles and it was riveting. While a service can be great without a professional actor, this was excellent in a new way for me. (I usually attend a different church.)  I had a job interview for a short term teacher training/English workshop in Albania. The students will be Afghan women and it'll last about 6 weeks. I don't know anything about Albania so if I get an offer and I accept, I'll have to look into the country. I'm pretty zen-like about the job. It sounds like this NGO is organized and professional. I'm not sure what the pay is as the interviewers said they'd tell the chosen teachers that when they offer the po...
