 Movie Posters

This week Sepia Saturday bloggers are inspired to share photos inspired by this image of Marlene Dietrich . I went to the Library of Congress site to see what they have. Many of their images, even ones that should be public domain weren't available for download. I did find an assortment of photos with movie posters and some posters themselves.

  1. A great match to the prompt and thanks for including all the videos! Mary Pickford's was really fun - OMG! :)

  2. Your selections have a nice range of style and emotion. Don’t get involved with glamorous Gilda!

  3. Great take on the prompt...when I have a bit more time I'll come back to see the clips...they look great!

  4. Excellent idea to go one step removed from the movie photos. Those are great pictures -- and the Harold Lloyd clock poster and video is still hair-raising. Yikes!

  5. Great idea for the theme! Once upon a time, for those of us who remember, a movie poster was the main medium for attracting our attention to a film. Sadly that artform is gone and even the square image on a DVD box has disappeared too.
